Mask or No Mask?

Beginning May 29, 2021, the mask mandate in Massachusetts and in Provincetown will be lifted and replaced with a mask advisory. Unvaccinated people will be advised to wear masks indoors, and/or anywhere they are unable to maintain a 6' social distance. Vaccinated people may go maskless in all situations, both indoor and outdoor.

Ptown Bikes is asking unvaccinated people to wear their masks both inside and outside since renting a bike requires closer than 6' social distance. Persons who want to go inside the store will be required to wear a mask unless they show proof of vaccination prior to entering. Your vaccination card, photocopy of your vaccination card or a picture of your vaccination card on your phone are sufficient.

It looks like proof of vaccination will be required by some businesses this summer. The Boatslip just announced it will require proof of vaccination to enter Tea Dance.

We will continue to offer customers disinfectant wipes for bikes and we will continue to deep clean helmets and set them aside for two days before reusing them.

Let's all get vaccinated and get back to life!

Thank you for your continued patronage!
